New Year: Starring Magic
Boos SA is an inventive solutions company, offering their services for the Banking and Retail Industry. We designed their 2021 greeting card, based on the conversation between theology and astronomy regarding the comeback of the “Christmas Star” on the night sky. As Jupiter and Saturn will be aligned, they will shine together as one body for the first time in 800 years, thus heating up the debate whether this astronomical event could have occurred 2000 years ago, during Jesus' birth.
We drew inspiration from the tale of the Three Wise Men in order to create a custom-made card, which adds a sparkle of magic to the everyday office life. The Star applies at the top of one of the Wise Men’s hat, so that with a little push can acquire the ability to sway. The wish that is written on the card urges the recipient to cast a spell on the New Year, something that at this time and era can feel as a collective need for 2021.
